Radical style : Several breakthroughs have recently been achieved in enantioselective C(sp 3 )−H functionalization through radical activation. These new strategies show how radical chemistry can be used to convert alkanes into functionalized chiral molecules (see scheme; HAT=hydrogen atom transfer).
