Floating liquid marbles can be transported on a photosensitive surfactant‐laden solution by light‐ induced Marangoni flows. As reported by D. Baigl et al. in their Communication on page 11183 ff., the marbles remarkably move upstream (anti‐Marangoni motion) at a low substrate thickness. The motion is driven by flow‐induced deformation of the liquid surface, which, by means of gravity, propels the marble against the surface flow, similar to a child descending a slide. This behavior is termed the ‘‘slide effect’’.
