The calcium signaling activities at the early stage of GPCR stimulation were investigated by plasmonic‐based electrochemical impedance microscopy (EIM) by J. Li and J. Lu in their Communication on page 13576 ff. Whereas surface plasmon resonance images report the single‐cell calcium flux activities, the EIM images reveal the heterogeneity of the local distributions and the transient activities of the calcium‐related ion channels.
