Cyclotides are naturally occurring microproteins with a circular Cys‐knot topology found in plants. In their Communication on page 8390 ff., J. A. Camarero et al. show the heterologous expression of cyclotides inside live yeast cells. This approach was used to produce a cyclotide to inhibit α‐syn‐induced cytotoxity in a synucleopathy model.
