Ligand swap : The exchange of N‐heterocyclic carbene (NHC) ligands at Si II centers is shown to provide access to a dicationic NHC complex of silicon(II), and an NHC adduct of the iodosilyliumylidene cation SiI + , [SiI(I i Pr 2 Me 2 )(IDipp)] + (see picture). Characterization studies led to the discovery of an unprecedented CH⋅⋅⋅Si anagostic interaction for [SiI(I i Pr 2 Me 2 )(IDipp)] + .
