Cubes : The rational design of a simple set of organic subcomponents led to the formation of a M 8 L 12 16+ cubic capsule upon their self‐assembly with Fe II ions. By altering the length of alkyl chains on these subcomponents, the solubility of the assembled structures was greatly increased in apolar solvents, such as cyclohexane, and the structures displayed solvent‐dependent host–guest interactions.
