Incredibly rich in lithium : The ternary silicides Li 7 CuSi 2 with the linear [Si‐Cu‐Si] 7− Zintl anion (see picture) and Li 7.3 CuSi 3 are compounds with the highest lithium content in the ternary system. The crystal and electronic structures of both compounds are discussed.
