Dispersed gold complexes anchored in defined positions of a zeolite NaY are catalytically active sites for the oxidation of carbon monoxide at room temperature. In their Communication on page 5842 ff. , B. C. Gates, et al. show images of these sites, which were obtained by aberration‐corrected scanning transmission electron microscopy and show changes in the catalytic activity associated with changes in the location of the gold atoms in the zeolite.
