A complete fuel cell based on a single molecular catalyst is reported by S. Ogo and co‐workers in their Communication on page 11 202 ff. This cell applies a recently discovered mechanism wherein a [NiFe]hydrogenase mimic is able to catalyze the oxidation of H 2 to protons. This molecular catalyst can function in both solid and solution phases, which provides both the handling convenience of the solid phase and the analytical clarity of the solution phase.
