DNA hybridization of thrombin‐binding aptamers (TBAs) to form a self‐assembled arranged monolayer on gold nanoparticles (Au NPs) was used to control the coagulation activity of thrombin. The hTBA 15 /hTBA 29 /cDNA‐Au NPs provided flexibility and a suitable orientation and distance between the hTBA 15 and hTBA 29 units for bivalent binding, allowing strong interactions with thrombin and extremely high anticoagulant potency.
