Easy access by gold : The Au I ‐catalyzed title reaction provides simple and efficient access to highly substituted cyclic compounds with excellent yields and good diastereoselectivity. This transformation constitutes the first example of transition‐metal‐catalyzed direct hydroalkylation of unactivated alkenes with simple α‐ketone groups in the absence of additive reagents. Bn=benzyl, Ts=tosyl.
