A C 60 bubble‐maker : Induced by platinum nanoparticle templates, carbon atoms formed during the dehydrogenation of small hydrocarbon molecules gather and, reaching a certain coverage on the nanoparticle templates, form fullerenes (see picture). The tailor‐made Pt nanoparticle templates exhibit defined shapes and sizes and are supported on inert or basic oxide supports.
