A hybrid family : Hybrid nanoparticles containing the semiconductor CdS and the palladium compounds PdO or Pd 4 S were produced through two different synthetic mechanisms (see picture). The hybrids CdS‐Pd 4 S and CdS‐PdO undergo photoinduced charge separation, as demonstrated by their activity in the photoreduction of water.
