Let your light shine : The atomically monodisperse Pt 5 nanocluster has low cytotoxicity and a fluorescence quantum yield of 18 %. Furthermore, it can be used as a fluorescent probe for cellular imaging (see picture; gray sphere: Pt 5 nanocluster; PAMAM (G4‐OH): fourth‐generation polyamidoamine dendrimer; scale bar 20 μm).
