A sphere of many coats : A facile sequential templating process for the general preparation of metal oxide hollow microspheres with multiple shells (red), such as α‐Fe 2 O 3 , Co 3 O 4 , NiO, CuO, ZnO, and ZnFe 2 O 4 , may open up new opportunities for preparing advanced materials based on complex hollow structures with multipurpose applications.
