Single‐phase tavorite , LiFeSO 4 F, is crystallized in tetraethylene glycol at 220 °C to give an electrochemically highly active material. This route obviates the need for expensive ionic liquids and can be extended to the synthesis of NaFeSO 4 F, whose structure solution, along with that of the parent framework FeSO 4 F, provides understanding of ion mobility.
