Finding the needle in the haystack: A dynamic combinatorial library (DCL) of peptides was created using the disulfide‐exchange reaction of cysteines. Three cyclic peptides were found to be selective receptors for carbohydrates in water. One of these, HisHis, formed preferentially in a DCL in the presence of the neurotransmitter NANA.
