Keep your eye on the oxygen : In situ time‐resolved neutron diffraction measurements can be used to study the structural changes occurring during oxygen exchange in a material (see graph of the increase in oxygen content when the gas flux is switched from Ar to O 2 ). The method is demonstrated for a layered cobaltite, which is a promising cathode material for intermediate‐temperature fuel cells.
