Layering up : The title nanocomposite shows high anion loading capacity. The demonstration of the assembly of a W 7 O 24 6− catalyst by this method may provide a general route to the facile and direct fabrication of composite structures with magnetic cores and shells functionalized with various anions (see scheme; LDH=layered double hydroxide).
