Well‐dressed : A new method was developed to produce thermosensitive nanocrystals (NCs) by coating the NCs with an amphiphilic copolymer consisting of poly(maleic anhydride‐ alt ‐1‐octadecene) (PMAO) and poly( N ‐isopropylacrylamide) (PNIPAAm; see photograph of coated Fe 3 O 4 NCs at 20 °C and 40 °C). The method is general for all hydrophobic NCs produced by thermolysis.
