Two new creations … in the artificial molecular microworld—selenirenium and tellurirenium ions—float in the cosmic region between the moon goddess Selene, and Tellus, the Earth. H. Poleschner and K. Seppelt describe these molecules in their Communication on page 6461 ff.; the instability of the tellurium compounds parallels the fragile living conditions on our planet. The cover picture makes reference to the poetic names given to tellurium by M. H. Klaproth, and to selenium by J. J. Berzelius.
