Pores for thought : The formation of nanostructured TiO 2 films is templated by dendritic amphiphilic core–double‐shell macromolecules. The templates consist of a hydrophobic polystyrene (PS) interior and a hydrophilic poly(acrylic acid) (PA) exterior (see picture). The pore size of the films can be controlled by adjusting the length of the hydrophobic block in the inner shell of the macromolecules.
