Take it to the limit : Monodisperse nanoparticles of the 3D coordination polymer [Fe(pyrazine){Ni(CN) 4 }] have been obtained in biopolymer chitosan beads matrix (see picture). These ultra‐small nanoparticles (ca. 4 nm) exhibit spin crossover phenomenon with hysteresis.
