A boryl anion with a Mn‐imum of fuss : The reduction of 1 with lithium sand yielded the first anionic dimetalloborylene complex 2 , which is totally separated from its counter cation [Li(dme) 3 ] + (dme=1,2‐dimethoxyethane). The anion reacts with MeI to give the corresponding methylborylene complex [{(η 5 ‐C 5 H 4 Me)(OC) 2 Mn} 2 (μ‐BMe)].
