Seeing red : An optical sensor based on CdTe quantum dots (QDs) and [ meso ‐tetrakis(pentafluorophenyl)porphyrinato]platinum(II) (PtF 20 TPP; λ em,max =648 nm, red), achieves both colorimetric and quantitative determination of oxygen. The sensor strip is reversible in its response and can be reused.
