A WPb bond is present in the hydrido plumbylidyne complex trans ‐[H(PMe 3 ) 4 WPb(2,6‐Trip 2 C 6 H 3 )], which is formed by an unprecedented PbN activation reaction of {Pb(2,6‐Trip 2 C 6 H 3 )NMe 2 } 2 , the first structurally characterized organolead(II) amide (see picture for molecular structure). Trip=2,4,6‐ i Pr 3 C 6 H 2 .
