Chiroptical tool : Good agreement between the experimental and the quantum‐chemically simulated Raman optical activity (ROA) spectrum of a β peptide adopting the ( M )‐3 14 ‐helical conformation (see model peptide; blue N, red O, gray C) demonstrates that ROA spectroscopy has the potential to provide complete structures in solution, including their absolute helicity.
