The coupling of oxidases with fluorophore‐labeled CdSe/ZnS quantum dots enables the ratiometric fluorescence analysis of enzyme activities and their substrates by the interaction between the biocatalytically generated H 2 O 2 and the quantum dots. The method has been applied to the analyis of glucose and the inhibition of acetylcholine esterase.
