An unusual quartet : Four guanine residues have been efficiently “clicked” onto a cavitand to create a lipophilic template‐assembled synthetic G‐quartet (TASQ) structure in CDCl 3 . The TASQ manifests unusual cation‐free structural integrity and stability. This cation‐free basket, as well as corresponding potential cation‐bound quartets and cation‐induced quadruplexes may find applications in health therapies.
