Selective in many aspects : The selective codimerization of enamides with other alkenes to give alkylated enamides has been achieved for the first time in the presence of Ru catalysts. The underlying strategy of utilizing different coordination modes of two olefins at a metal center for selective coupling could open up atom‐economic access to functionalized alkenes.
