Fluoral arrangement : The calcium β‐diketiminate complex 1 (see scheme) not only exhibits an unexpected and unprecedented binding mode of a CF 3 group, from which one fluorine atom coordinates to the Ca center, but also undergoes CF bond cleavage through the formation of a heteroleptic calcium fluoride complex.
