Sandwich triangles : A bis([2.2]paracyclophane)tripalladium complex ( 1 ) was isolated and characterized by NMR spectroscopy, and a mixed‐ligand derivative was structurally characterized. These complexes are the first isolated μ 3 ‐arene trimetal complexes of a Group 10 metal. Complex 1 undergoes facile release of a Pd 0 atom (see scheme) and as such may be regarded as a Pd 0 reservoir.
