Ugi wonderland : An Ugi‐type reaction of tetrahydroisoquinoline with an isocyanide and a carboxylic acid in the presence of iodoxybenzoic acid (IBX) afforded the 1,2‐diacylated adduct in good to excellent yields (see scheme).
