Superthin cables : Superconducting coaxial lead–polymer nanocables (see TEM/EDX element maps (top) and line scan (bottom)) are fabricated by a one‐step method. Self‐assembled polymer tubes act as both templates and microreactors for the growth of lead cores. The polymer shells also improve the oxidation resistance of the inner nanowires.
