A bowl of pairs : The water‐soluble bowl‐shaped coordination compound formed from [Pd(en)(NO 3 ) 2 ] (en=ethylenediamine) and tris(3‐pyridyl)triazine recognizes preferentially a racemic pair of guest molecules such as 1,1′‐bi‐2‐naphthol. This bimolecular recognition results in chirality enrichment in the organic phase without the need to add another source of chirality (see scheme).
