Joined at the hip : The intramolecular carbostannylation of alkynes catalyzed by silver(I) stereoselectively gives E ‐alkenylstannanes as single isomers (see scheme, Z=C(CO 2 Me) 2 , C(SO 2 Ph) 2 , C(CH 2 OR) 2 ). The mechanism of the reaction appears to be similar to that of the reaction of enynes with other electrophilic transition‐metal complexes.
