Confused, but not dazed : Totally in contrast to Sn IV complexes of normal porphyrins, Sn IV complexes of N‐confused oxoporphyrins can strongly bind halides at the axial position with pronounced fluorescence enhancement (see scheme; Ar=Ph, p ‐CF 3 C 6 H 4 , p ‐CH 3 C 6 H 4 ) and can thus be regarded as a novel prototype of fluorescence halide sensors.
