A good couple : Highly selective aerobic allylic oxidation with CC bond formation is achieved by the use of coupled palladium and iron catalysis (see scheme; FePc=iron phthalocyanine). The use of an oxygen‐activating catalyst is necessary for an efficient electron transfer from Pd 0 to O 2 . The utility of this method is enhanced by the immobilization of the iron catalyst onto a resin.
