Fully reversible crystal photochromism between the μ‐O 2 SSO 2 ( 1 ) and μ‐O 2 SOSO ( 2 ) forms of a dinuclear rhodium complex has been observed. The photochromic reaction, including stereoselective oxygen‐atom transfer and stereospecific transformation of photochemically generated μ‐O 2 SOSO isomers into the most stable isomer, was directly followed by conventional single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction.
