More than just curiosities : The synthesis and characterization of a stable benzo[ c ]tellurophene are presented. TeTe interactions are shown to be one of the main driving forces for the crystal‐packing properties of this electron‐rich benzo[ c ]tellurophene; furthermore, investigation of its pyroelectric properties reveals a secondary pyroelectric effect.
