Symmetry and chiral recognition : In contrast to previous arguments, recent reports have demonstrated that C 3 ‐symmetric receptors can bind chiral substrates with high enantioselectivity (see picture: H=host, G=( S ) or ( R )‐configured guest; colored spheres represent different‐sized substituents).
