Ever‐increasing through circles : Long single‐stranded DNA molecules with repetitive sequence units were synthesized on gold nanoparticles through rolling circle amplification (RCA, see scheme). These special DNA–AuNP conjugates were then used as a scaffold for assembling periodic 3D nanostructures, which may find applications in nanocomputing devices, nanoelectronic circuits, and ultrasensitive biosensors.
