Railroad polymers are one‐dimensional metal coordination polymers that form a molecular ladder structure. The cover picture shows such a structure, comprised of Zn–(4,4′‐bipyridylethylene) units, which undergoes [2 + 2] photochemical cycloaddition across the rails to form another 1D coordination polymeric structure accompanied by quantitative single‐crystal to single‐crystal transformation. For more details see the Communication by J. J. Vittal and co‐workers on page 2237 ff. (The cover picture was designed by Bellam Sreenivasulu.)
