Hydrothermal reaction of Zn(OAc) 2 ⋅2 H 2 O and H 3 PO 3 in the presence of n ‐butylamine gives the title compound, which contains extra‐large 24‐ring channels (see framework representation). Each channel is enclosed by a tetragonal array of four 8‐ring channels interconnected by corner‐sharing 4‐ring chains through Zn‐O‐P linkages.
