GeO 3 S tetrahedra and square‐pyramidal VO 5 units are primary building units of two new compounds containing the unusual anion [V 14 Ge 8 O 42 S 8 ] 12− (see section of the structure; Ge black, O red, S yellow, V gray). Both compounds were prepared under solvothermal conditions. Strong antiferromagnetic exchange interactions between V 4+ centers dominate the magnetic properties.
