More fused rings for fullerenes : Fuller‐1,6‐enynes are a peculiar class of 1,6‐enynes that involve a highly strained double‐bond component as well as a curved molecular surface. They undergo an unprecedented thermal [2+2] cycloaddition to afford products with three neighboring fused rings on one six‐membered ring of the C 60 core as shown in the scheme.
