Methylation or phosphenium insertion reactions with cyclopolyphosphines (P t Bu) 3 or (PCy) 4 (Cy=cyclohexyl) are presented as stereospecific and high‐yielding preparative approaches to cyclopolyphosphinophosphonium cations. The cations [(P t Bu) 3 Me] + , [(PCy) 4 Me] + , and [(P t Bu) 3 PMe 2 ] + (see picture; P orange, C gray) are prepared as trifluoromethanesulfonate salts and represent key frameworks in fundamental catena ‐phosphorus chemistry.
