Revamped for the 21st century : The original Stille protocols for cross‐couplings are difficult to recognize in the newer nickel‐catalyzed reactions of monoorganotin compounds with secondary alkyl halides (see scheme). This new coupling scheme avoids the formation of toxic byproducts.
