Oxidative decomposition of toxic pollutants (such as acetaldehyde and isopropyl alcohol), decomposition of water, and photocurrent generation can all be achieved with visible light. Nano‐islands of p‐type CaFe 2 O 4 interfacing with bulk n‐type PbBi 2 Nb 1.9 W 0.1 O 9 (shown) form photocatalytic nanodiodes that demonstrate high stability and high activity for such applications.
