The magic touch! By using the “magic” group Ph 2 C(X) (X=O − , NH − ), aluminum ring systems such as 1 have been synthesized from trimethylaluminum. For diphenylglycine (X=NH − ), both six‐ and twelve‐membered rings have been structurally identified.
